Hotel
The construction of the hotel was completed in 2001, and we are happy to announce the addition, in 2007, of our restaurant! Luna Llena is centered around a tropical garden, and was planned for nature lovers as well as for families. For guests who wish to stay for a week or longer we have bungalows with fully equipped kitchens. For our guests we offer a jacuzzi and a free form pool set in a tropical garden. Breakfast is served in a covered bar close to the pool.
Rooms
For guests who plan to stay for only for a couple of days, we offer rooms with air conditioning, safety deposit boxes, cable TV, orthopedic mattresses and charming Italian decor and linens. The rooms come with a spacious bathroom with hot water.
Bungalows
Our Residence is composed of 7 two storey round bungalows. Each bungalow is well ventilated with ceiling fans and A/C. They are furnished with unique Italian decor and linens, have private bathrooms, hot water and equipped kitchens, cable TV and a safety deposit box. With two separate sleeping areas the bungalows are ideal for 4 or 5 people. Breakfast is served in a covered bar close to the pool.

The exquisite, Italian-run, canary-yellow Luna Llena, has bungalows around an alluring swimming pool (sponge-washed turquoise) with swim-up bar and a raised wooden sun deck with a Jacuzzi. Stone pathways run through the stylish property, whose sponge washed conical bungalows are done up in every Caribbean colors (each has its own color scheme) and have tasteful, soothing decor, including terra-cotta floors; a spiral staircase leads to a loft bedroom, and the semi-circular bathrooms are marvellous, All have fans, refrigerators, and private baths with hot water; eight new rooms have a/c and boast huge bathrooms with beautiful tile work.

when me and my wife saw this place during a visit in Tamarindo, we have been very much impressed by the beautiful architecture, created with love and respect to the environment. Both of us have been so sad that we could not stay there because the place was still under construction. We had never seen anything like that before and we live in Costa Rica since 10 years and know every corner of the country! Now, Hotel Luna Llena is operating and we wish the owners the best success and highly recommend a visit to everyone.
