Leonardo Pinero came to Tamarindo from Mar de Plata, Argentina in 1997. Formerly a promoter and publicist for an annual film festival, his passion for surf photography has taken him him to professional competitions, like the Eastern Surf Association Contest in North Carolina. He captures the surf of Tamarindo, Ollies Point, Witches Rock and many other surf spots in Guanacaste.
